Hypothermia Outreach

All of the shelters that are open for hypothermia season in DC were aggregated into an interactive map with a QR code to be accessible for people experiencing homelessness. The map was placed in the context of hypothermia season in DC, which included the number of deaths from hypothermia last year, the temperature at which hypothermia affects humans, and the story of the founding of Georgetown Ministry Center (GMC) on Wisconsin. The map was distributed to GMC's patrons for use last hypothermia season to help locate shelters in extreme weather.
