Over the summer as I was working with a lot of farmers in India while making curriculum for an agriculture program I couldn't help, but compare my own experience in the US. I created "The Price of White Meat" to illustrate how the demand for white meat in the US has pushed farmers to genetically modify chickens to have oversized breasts. It has gotten so terrible that now a lot of farmers say their chickens can only take 2 or 3 steps before falling down.
