VP-elect Mike Pence faces 'polite protest' by new D.C. neighbors

Prior to the inauguration in January, VP-elect Mike Pence has taken up residence in Chevy Chase, something many of his new neighbors were not pleased with. In what they called a 'polite protest,' some neighbors chose to raise rainbow flags, a popular symbol of gay pride, in front of the homes. VP-elect Pence is notorious for supporting anti-LGBTQ legislation. However, not all neighbors were pleased with this action.
