Off-Campus Shelving "Library Use Only" Materials Request
Use this form for "Library Use Only" Off-Campus Shelving materials located at the WRLC Center in Upper Marlboro, MD that cannot be requested through the library's catalog.
Off-Campus Shelving items are generally requested to be brought to Lauinger Library 1–3 business days after the request is made.
Requests are not processed on weekends or University holidays — for example, requests made on a Friday will not be processed until the following Monday or Tuesday.
Once retrieved, the materials will be held at the Circulation Desk for 10 business days. Materials not picked up by then will be returned to Off-Campus Shelving unless other arrangements are made with the Print Collections Unit by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Off-Campus Shelving materials are subject to the same circulation and use policies as Lauinger materials — "Library Use Only" means that the item may not leave the library at any time.
If you are a main campus patron and you only need a single article from a particular journal, please request it through our InterLibrary Loan service.
