Graduate Student Short-Term Study Rooms

These study rooms are designed to facilitate day-long research and provide a quiet, closed-door atmosphere for study. A limited number of individual study rooms in Lauinger Library are available for graduate students to reserve for short-term use.

Main campus graduate students may reserve short-term study rooms here. Unoccupied and unreserved rooms are available on the same day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Study carrels are found on the second and fourth floors of Lauinger Library.

Main Campus Georgetown Graduate students may reserve a room for up to six hours per day.

Reservations can be made for up to a week in advance.

Unoccupied and unreserved rooms are first-come first-serve to any library patron.

These rooms doors do not lock. Do not leave laptops, wallets, GoCards, cell phones, or any valuables in the room for even a minute. The Library is not responsible for items taken from the room.
