The Murray Room is available to library staff for library-related meetings and events, and university faculty and staff for academic meetings and university-sponsored events. It is not available for use as a classroom or for non-university-related activities.
Features of the room:
Screen and projector for presentations
Ceiling speaker system
Laptop (Windows 7) on the podium connected to the projector
A/V system which supports personal laptops at the podium (HDMI and VGA)
All requests, scheduling, and arrangements are handled by the Scheduling Coordinator in Library Administration.
The Murray Room is on the 5th Floor of Lauinger Library.
All reservations are subject to cancellation based on priority needs.
All users must complete and sign the Authorization Request for Use of Murray Room (PDF) and submit it via fax to (202) 687-7501, email to email@example.com, or campus mail to the Lauinger Library Scheduling Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to the meeting date and no more than 30 days before the meeting date. All reservations are considered tentative until the Program and Events Coordinator provides written confirmation.
