Quiet and Silent Study Areas
Space has been set aside for quiet and silent study in Lauinger. In quiet study areas there is no talking or playing of music (even with headphones). In silent study areas, there is no talking, playing of music or use of laptops. Consumption of permitted food is only allowed on the 2nd Floor. Covered drinks are permitted in all study areas.
Quiet and silent study areas are clearly designated by signs. Please refer to the library maps for the specific locations on each floor.

Quiet and silent study areas are available during regular Library hours. Only those with a GOCard will be admitted into Lauinger Library between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Please do not leave materials unattended in the library. The Library is not responsible for the loss of personal items or materials checked out to you.
