A celebration of Charles Dickens' 200th birthday with the opening of the exhibition "Dickens at Georgetown;" some Victorian-era treats and cake; Professor Leona Fisher on teaching and learning Dickens; a scene interpretation by Professors John Pfordresher, David Gewanter and Catherine Payling; and an introduction to "Dickens at Georgetown" by Professor Pfordresher and Rare Books Curator Karen O'Connell.
