This year's lecture will be on "America in the Age of Shadow Wars and an All-Volunteer Military." It will be presented by journalists Mark Mazzetti, a correspondent for The New York Times and a Pulitzer Prize winner, and Phil Klay, a Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War and recipient of the National Book Award for Fiction.
Join us on Thursday, February 25 at 6:00 pm in Copley Formal Lounge for "Phishing for Phools," a lecture by George Akerlof, Nobel Laureate in Economics and Professor in the McCourt School of Public Policy. The lecture is based on the book he recently co-authored, Phishing for Phools: The Economics of Manipulation and Deception.
In celebration of Jesuit Heritage Week 2016, the Georgetown University Library will host Professor Kyle Roberts for his lecture "Reimagining the Library: Reflections on the Digital Reconstruction of a Historic Jesuit Library."
