We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.

Self-Service Microform Scanning & Printing

Photocopies may be made from microfilm, microfiche and microcards on self-service machines located at the Reference Desk, Third Floor and on the Lower Level of Lauinger Library. You may also scan microform documents for free and email them or save them to an external drive on the machines located at the Reference Desk. You can find tips on using microform documents here.

All microform copying machines require a GOCard or a guest print/photocopy card to print copies. Copies are 10 cents per page. Users unaffiliated with Georgetown must purchase a guest print/photocopy card in order to print. Guest print cards can be purchased at two Lauinger Library Deposit Stations, located in the third-floor lobby area and the Gelardin New Media Center (first floor). The closest Deposit Station to Blommer is located in the Leavey Center. The guest card itself costs $1. Values of $1, $5, $10 and $20 can be added to guest cards and to GOCards at the Deposit Stations.

For problems with a Deposit Station, please contact GOCard at (202) 687-2700 or visit GOCard Services in Darnall Hall.
