Proxy Borrowing
Borrowing by proxy provides borrowing privileges in the Georgetown University Library to individuals working for or with a Georgetown faculty member. The faculty member may designate, via the proxy request form, a person who is authorized to borrow materials in his/her name.
Please fill out the proxy form and return it to the Circulation Desk in Lauinger Library or fax it to (202) 687-1215.

The sponsoring faculty member is responsible for all materials borrowed and fines accrued by the proxy. Proxy privileges are issued for no more than one academic year. Proxies may be a research assistant, family member or student. To name a proxy, a faculty member must already be a registered borrower in the Georgetown University Library. Proxy privileges do not extend to the Interlibrary Loan service.
