Jennifer Boettcher, Business Reference Librarian and Elizabeth Foster, Public Policy & Social Sciences Librarian are recipients of project funds from the Library’s Gladys Brooks Emerging Disciplines Fund to enhance the Library’s energy studies collections. The Gladys Brooks Emerging Disciplines Fund is one of two awards the Library received in 2013 from the Gladys Brooks Foundation to support collections related to emerging disciplines as well as the preservation and conservation of Library Materials.

A variety of departments and programs, including economics, government, international affairs, area studies, public policy, business, and security studies, offer courses on energy-related topics. This grant also will help support GU's commitment to sustainability. Jennifer and Elizabeth will use the funds to purchase books on energy policy, energy economics, and energy industries.

Do you work in these areas? You will see new materials on our physical and digital shelves soon.
