300 Words Per Minute

Stenography is the art of typing phonetically, allowing stenographers to type over 300 words per minute. Traditionally, this skill has a high barrier of entry, requiring complex machines that cost thousands of dollars. With the help of open source software and Gelardin's Maker Space, I have designed and prototyped a steno machine for a fraction of the cost. In the spirit of maker spaces, I will be making my designs and code public, with the hopes of bringing stenography to a wider audience
