Due to ongoing repairs in Lauinger Library, the temperatures on Floors 5, 4, and in the Pierce Reading Room are currently lower than normal. Users may find more comfortable temperatures on the 3rd Floor outside of the Pierce Reading Room and on Floors 2, 1, and the Lower Level as well as the Bioethics and Blommer Science Libraries.
Space has been set aside for quiet and silent study in Lauinger. In quiet study areas there is no talking or playing of music (even with headphones). Consumption of permitted food is only allowed on the 2nd Floor. Covered drinks are permitted in all study areas.
Quiet and study areas are clearly designated by signs. Please refer to the library maps for the specific locations on each floor.
Quiet and study areas are available during regular Library hours. Only those with a GOCard will be admitted into Lauinger Library between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Please do not leave materials unattended in the library. The Library is not responsible for the loss of personal items or materials checked out to you.
